Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 26, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how SpriteArk (“SpriteArk”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) handles information when you use spriteark.com or the SpriteArk macOS app.

Local Data

SpriteArk does not require an account. Project files, editing outputs, workspace metadata, settings, Provider configurations and credentials, downloaded models, caches, and file-access permissions remain in folders you choose or in the app’s local Sandbox containers. SpriteArk does not operate an account or project-sync service that receives this data.

A folder you choose may still be synced by macOS or another service you use. That service’s terms and privacy policy apply.

Website and Support

The SpriteArk website does not use advertising trackers or analytics. Our hosting provider processes standard request data, such as IP address, browser information, requested URL, and access time, to deliver and secure the site. If you contact support, we receive the contact details and message content you provide.

Optional Remote AI Providers

SpriteArk shows each remote AI Provider and its configured endpoint and explains the categories of data that may be sent. Testing the connection or using an enabled Provider directs SpriteArk to send the data needed for that action directly to the endpoint. This may include prompts and request settings, source or reference images, masks, and the API credential used to authenticate the request.

These requests do not pass through a SpriteArk server. Remote AI Providers are independent services selected by you, not service providers acting for SpriteArk. Their own terms and privacy policies govern their processing, retention, and deletion. Review them before enabling a Provider and confirm that their protections are appropriate for the data you choose to send.

Updates, Downloads, and Purchases

At app launch, SpriteArk automatically contacts config.spriteark.com to check for updates to AI Provider templates and the downloadable local-model catalog. This request may expose standard network metadata, such as your IP address, to our hosting provider, but it does not include project files, prompts, API credentials, or asset contents. Local model files are downloaded only when you choose to download them; the download host receives the network data required to deliver the files.

Apple processes Mac App Store purchases and payment details. SpriteArk receives product information and verified transaction or entitlement status needed to provide purchased features, but not your payment card or bank details.

Sharing, Retention, and Your Choices

We do not sell personal information or use it for cross-app or cross-site tracking. Information is disclosed only for the purposes described above. We require service providers acting for SpriteArk to provide the same or equivalent protection for personal information as described in this policy and required by applicable law. Information sent to an independent remote AI Provider is disclosed only at your direction as described above.

Local data remains until you delete it or remove the app’s data. Disabling a Provider stops future requests to it; removing it also deletes its local configuration and credential. Support messages and security logs are retained only as reasonably necessary for support, security, and legal obligations. Apple, hosting providers, download hosts, and AI Providers retain information under their own policies.

We use reasonable safeguards, including the macOS App Sandbox and system file-access controls, but no storage or transmission method is completely secure.

SpriteArk is not directed to children under 13. Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of personal information we hold. Network services may process information outside your country or region. Contact us to exercise applicable rights; contact a user-selected Provider or Apple directly for information they control.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as our practices change. We will post the revised policy and date here.
